Dharma collection center for mind care

  1. Traditional Thai medicine can take good care of the “body”, but complete healing requires taking care of the “mind” as well.
    • Traditional Thai medicine is often accompanied by temples or monks who provide spiritual guidance.
    • The balance of body and mind therefore requires the integration of medical science and Dharma.
  2. Temples are the spiritual refuge of the people and the source of spiritual renewal.
    • There are many temples that focus on deep spiritual care, such as:
    • Luang Pu Boonchum – Emphasis on kindness and peace
    • Luang Por Pramote – Teaching to Know the Mind
    • Luang Pho Wiriyang – Focus on meditation therapy
    • These teachings can help reduce suffering, relieve stress, and encourage people to take care of their physical health.
  3. This center will be a place for collecting and disseminating
    • Videos, teachings, prayers, or Dharma media from a teacher who focuses on taking care of the mind.
    • Open to the general public, Thai traditional medicine students, or the general public for easy access.
    • Developed as a database for research, learning and development of holistic health care innovations.

Preliminary proposal

  • Use the 3rd floor as a “Dharma Center for Mind Care” under the Department.
  • Invite a well-known monk of the practice lineage to provide guidance or record teachings.
  • Connect the system with Thai traditional medicine clinics to promote both “herbs” and “meditation therapy”.
  • Create an Online/Hybrid system to provide nationwide access.

I believe that this move to elevate Thai traditional medicine, if we can unite people’s hearts through connections with temples and religious teachings, will certainly make…

“Thai Model of Holistic Health”

Complete and truly ready to be a national model.
